Choi Ji-su (Korean: 최지수; born July 21, 2000), known commonly by the stage name Lia (리아), is a South Korean singer and member of girl group ITZY under JYP Entertainment.
She made her debut in ITZY on February 12, 2019, with the release of their single album, IT’z Different, with their lead single ‘DALLA DALLA’.
On January 3, 2022, Lia made her solo debut participating in the OST of MBC's Korean drama, The Red Sleeve, with the song ‘Always be your star’.
On September 18, 2023, it was announced by her agency, JYP Entertainment, that Lia would take an indefinite hiatus from all activities. She posted a handwritten letter to fans the same day via Instagram. It was also clarified that she would not be participating in the group’s 2nd world tour “BORN TO BE”.
On September 4, it was reported that ITZY will be coming back in October as a full-group with Lia.On September 15, they released their ninth mini album Gold on October 15.
