Insignificant is a song by American rock band Counting Crows, the fifth track on their 2008 album Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings. The lyrics of the song make reference to The Legend of Icarus. On the meaning of the song, Counting Crows frontman Adam Duritz has said:
"It’s all a vision of a man standing on the edge of the roof of a building looking out over the world."
