There are two bands with this name: (1) a Swedish death metal band and (2) a US death metal band.
(1) Offering a sonic blend of the Swedish and Floridian death metal soundscapes, while augmenting it with melodic excursions not too far off from 80s metal giants, Gothenburg’s IMPERISHABLE emerge with a masterclass of uncompromising quality. ”Come, Sweet Death” is the debut full length release from these Swedes, unleashed two years into the band’s existence.
While their musical output oftentimes remains firmly within the framework set by their predecessors, IMPERISHABLE takes a quite different turn lyrically, as they diverge from the subject matters frequently utilized in this genre. Says the band: ”Religious topics, gore or occult mumbo jumbo never appealed to us. There are a few bands that execute those themes in a respectable fashion, but personally we prefer to write about something that isn’t made up. Addiction and death is real, and something the vast majority of listeners will relate to.”

(2) Imperishable is an extrem4e metal band hailing from South Carolina, USA and formed in 2020 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Kingsland (Nile) and bassist Alex Rush. The lineup was completed in early 20233 with the addition of drum legend Derek Roddy (Hate Eternal. Malevolent Creation).
