“Can't Stop“ is a song recorded by American band OneRepublic for their third studio album Native. It serves as the seventh track on the 2013 standard edition and eighth of the 2014 re-release. It was written and produced by Ryan Tedder, Jeff Bhasker and Tyler Sam Johnson.
A 01:32 snippet of “Can't Stop“ was unveiled on the OneRepublicVEVO YouTube channel on March 6, 2013. The full song was released with the album Native on March 22, 2013.
OneRepublic shared on their YouTube channel three student videos of the song on April 30, 2015.
A video explaining the story behind Can't Stop was posted on OneRepublicVEVO's YouTube channel on March 25, 2013. In the video Tedder explains that “Can't Stop“ is the most different song on the record. It was written over a year prior to most of the album, but it was never intended for OneRepublic. Tedder wanted to include it on the album and the band tried to rework the track to make it more cohesive with the rest of the album and to sound like OneRepublic. The song was almost cut from the album because they couldn't make it work until producer Jeff Bhasker came on board and re-envisioned the track and reworked the production.
