Polluted Inheritance was a technical death metal band from Terneuzen, Netherlands, formed in 1989. They released two demos and three albums before splitting up in August 2008. The band originally started with members from Sacrament and Pollution, later adding Hoorman as vocalist. They recorded a demo, *Afterlife* (1991), which led to a deal with West Virginia Records. After Hoorman left, Camonier took over vocals. Their debut album *Ecocide* came out in 1993, but their label went bankrupt. Despite this, they released a second album, *Betrayed* (1996), under DSFA. After some setbacks, they signed with RokaRola and released their final album *Into Darkness* in 2001. The band officially disbanded in 2008.
