Beat made by RipSquad which samples Tegan and Sara’s “The Con” by using the acoustic guitar and repeating the intro vocals in the song throughout the beat.
The sampled song was also released in 2007 hence the name of the beat being called ‘2007’ and the song is about Tegan’s (the person singing) deep feelings towards a girl she was friends with. The YouTube video for the beat was posted on RipSquad’s channel ‘CEOLifestyle’ and has a picture of ‘Tom Nook’ who is a well known character from the Animal Crossing game franchise. ‘Tom Nook’ is also a shopkeeper in the game series which might link to the ‘CEOLIfestyle’ name because he makes money and owns stores, representing him as a CEO
