Too Close to Touch were an American alternative rock/post-hardcore band from Lexington, Kentucky, United States, formed in 2013. Both their debut EP, Too Close to Touch, and their debut full-length, Nerve Endings, were released through Epitaph. A year later, the band released their second full-length album, Haven't Been Myself.
On March 26, 2022, it was announced that lead singer Keaton Pierce had passed away. To preserve his legacy, on March 8, 2024, the band released their third and final album For Keeps. The band has stated that the name represents a final keepsake for themselves and the fans of the band. It is also a play on one of Keaton's nicknames, being Keeps. The band's final lineup was Kenneth Downey (drums) and Mason Marble (guitar and bass).
