Tristam, real name Leandre Bérubé Bergeron, is an electronic music singer, songwriter and producer living in Vancouver, Canada but is orginially from St. Isidore, Alberta, Canada. He has been releasing on the label Monstercat since 2011, with the single Party For The Living. His music flows between genres, as his early work is oriented towards brostep and dubstep, and has been changing over the years, turning into a more indie pop/melodic style.

In Autumn 2017, Tristam displayed his new style with his release of Bone Dry, which saw the sonics of his production and songwriting shift into an Electro Pop landscape. This was followed up by his 2018 release Questions and later his debut album. During this time, Tristam also did a denonymize and started to post pictures of his real face on all social media platforms.

He has since drifted away from Monstercat, and started his own label called "Onyx Four". When going independent and separating from Monstercat he changed his name on the Monstercat Compliation releases to Matsirt, which is simply Tristam backwards. This was thought to be because he wanted to distance his new artistic direction from some of his previous work.

After nearly two and a half years without a release, Tristam returned to releasing music with his independent single "Violence" on October 30, 2020. It was soon followed with 4 more singles: "Children in the Dark", "Burn", "Ruthless" and "Over the Edge", eventually leading to the aforementioned debut album "WLUWD", released on April 16, 2021. He has since went inactive after the album released, and hasn't released any music.
