blurrd vzn (pronounced blurred vision), is a San Diego-based experimental bass duo consisting of Johny Angelo and Oscar Villa.
It was in 2020 that blurrd johny and YEUX first joined forces and began creating music under the blurrd vzn alias. This San Diego-based duo incorporates a mix of trap and experimental bass to create a sound that’s distinctively theirs, and they truly took flight after the release of their debut EP, vznary, on Electric Hawk – which arrived in the midst of the pandemic.
They’ve also established their own mixtape series, blurry tapes, filled with unreleased music and featuring other artists in the underground bass scene, and have taken the stage at prominent festivals like Lost Lands along the way.
